I got an increment!Not gonna tell you how much I got, but it’s a good enough amount for me… ^^

Suddenly feel so much relief… I’ve been having financial problems and such, but thank God I got what I needed. And thank you Boss for understanding, Chris and Shern for encouraging me and teaching me always, Johnny for supporting me, Eric for being the silent listener. It’s great to be working in a place where everybody’s a buddy to you… or maybe cos I’m the only female there out of the 20 plus people (not counting the receptionist). But anyways, I’m glad

I need to communicate more in 2010, take up more initiative roles. My boss commended my skill in drawing, he has no doubt in it, but he hopes to see me involve more in the planning instead of sitting there quietly.

Oh! and he’s gonna sponsor me my comics! I finally able to come out with my own comic book!! I really can’t wait! When we finish the game and ship it out, I’ll be able to draw me some comics! be sure to support me ya! Buy a copy! both the game and the comics! He wanted it to be originally mine. I’m suppose to write my own story, develop my own concept. He didn’t want the writers to write for me, cause he wants my originality in it. ^^

I’m finally fullfilling my childhood dream, to be a comic artist!It started like that, then I figured that I can be a concept artist for animation and film, which I was in 2006-2007. Then I wanted to be a concept artist for Games! and here I am! and now, at long last, a comic artist! I really want to thank God for all these opportunities. It’s not common for somebody to be able to achieve such career at this age.. Film, animation, games and comics! all in 3 years time.  Oh… I’m 24 this year by the way… oldness…

I look at my members, and they are all so young… they are like 17, 18 years old… that’s a 6-7 years difference! I am getting old… but I can still beat you with one hand tie behind my back!! hahaha, gotta buck up them muscles girls!

Gonna go hit the sack… have to get up early to prepare for investiture tomorrow… Nite people! Muacks!

Another add on to the old 20 number… I am now almost a quarter century old… and boy, don’t I feel my age…

I’m in Penang now, staying in one of the most luxurious camp site ever… It’s a freaking hotel! But most probably we won’ be getting this place, hahaha… too bad. And now Im just really hungry, and there’s nothing to eat, I’ll just make a cup of coffee so I won’t get gastric.

Christmas Presents

I’ve received alot of presents this year! Mostly choclates and sweets, perfumes and soaps… 0_0

But my favourite one is from Ernest, an Ipod Shuffle… Well, he gave me his, We’re suppose to save up monies to buy an SLR camera with HD… So we’ve decided not to buy each other anything this Christmas and work towards getting that camera! But since I’ve given him a website some where in October, I guess he wanted to give me something too… So he gave me his Ipod shuffle. Now I just need to get myself a good pair of earphones… Cos, his one spoiled…

Next present is a Forever 21 bright purple pink handbag that Josephine (Ernest’s sister) got me… I was shocked cause I never thoought anyone would get me anything like this… I do not know when to use it… will upload pictures… But none the less, am grateful that she got me a present, and I haven’t bought her anything… shame on me… T_T

Zombie Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody! Finally I’m free to blog! Been so busy the past few days I don’t even have time to write, happens every time during this season… I need to buy presents, wrap them up, give them away, invite a few people, go to a few dinner, makeup 27 zombies, and open up my presents! Phew… indeed, this year is jam packed!

The art above is done by me, I got inspired by CheeChingy. She’s a fantastic graphic artist, I only found her online. Hope to learn more about graphics, I’m really bad when come to this side of art…

Oh, here’s one of our Zombies… He’s not fully painted yet though, notice that the gore level isn’t that high yet…

Total cost for 27 zombies for 3 performances = RM158 (makeup and costumes). Yeah, we’re under a tight budget, but I did not compromise on the quality! Each Zombies comes with fully painted bloody scars and cloaks. If you’re wondering what Zombies have to do with Christmas, then I will have to tell you that you’ve missed out on a very VERY special musical sketch.

They’re not really zombies, they’re humans, infected with a disease, that gives them a shorter life span of around 30 years, premature child birth, rotting wounds, boils…etc.  So many generations has passed, that they thought they were normal. They were quarantine in an island, where they lived their lives as if nothing is wrong, they thought that everybody else out there has died. This is where the story begins, a young doctor has found a cure, he came to cure them, but for them to believe him, he needs to infect himself with the disease and show them that the cure works. He went there to tell them that there is more to life, that they are meant to live more than just 30 years. They have been blinded by the things they see, he was there to bring them out of their dying world. But of course, they were comfortable in their homes, and most people think that the doctor is mad. So the decision lies there, to follow the doctor or stay where they are.

All in all, I think that this is one of the best sketches that we have done, I really love the songs and the meaning behind the sketch.

After 2 weeks plus, it has finally arrived! My brand new HP mini!!! Thank you so much to James from Digi  for personally delivering it to me!

They’ve skinned the net book with my name on it, free promo for Digi… hahahahaha … as well as the limited edition Pimp my Broadband modem!

I love the colour and the compact size, it fit nicely into my small biking bag!

It’s a hp mini 110, 1GB RAM and 15GB solid state drive, Intel Atom with Microsoft xp. I’m kinda wondering why windows XP? Wasn’t it suppose to be a windows 7? the prize for their second competition comes with a windows 7, and I’m stuck with XP! DIGI! Give me windows 7 TOO!!!

I  have a problem with the available storage space… after the windows installation, I’m left with only 9GB, might go for an upgrade. But if its too expensive, I’ll just get a SD card and permanently slot it in.

Thank you so much to Ernest for exchanging his 2GB Ram with my 1GB ram! Love ya lots!!! Oh… Er… I should refer him as Kuyadz Ernest Baby the Love of my life as requested by him… damn long loh… hahaha

I haven’t tried out the broadband yet though, cause I need to go and register it first… It’s worth RM500 weh! The modem and the free 3 months subscription.
