Zenos against Imperium!

Warhammer 3 Comments »

October 23 Friday was a blast! It was a 6000 points against 6000 points army, 4 against 4! The Zenos against the Fanatics. Actually we were suppose to have a short game between those from PJ and us, (We’re the Cheras Gang by the way), but seems like a good idea to try and combine aliens with aliens and humans with humans. It took us around 2 hours just to place the models and plan our strategy, we actually started playing at 11pm! The game ended at 4:30am, and everyone was exhausted… It was indeed a close match, a draw, and we can’t tell who was going to win! The imperiums started first, and blasts us away with their many tanks… oh… the pain… many of my boys died from dat… They were the shooting magnets… and I think they just like to bully me, so I went and bomb off alot of their tanks… After the 5th turn, we all were really tired, and that roll of 2 by Michael really saved us from another turn…

It was indeed a fun match! An Epic!

Look what’s new from forge world, Ork Mega-Dread… It’s about the size of a defiler,  and it’s going to cost me a fortune… Dang…I want one! But that thing cost a bomb!

The Body = £34.25
The killkannon arm = £15.65
The  rippa klaw arm = £15.65

Total =  (£65.55 + 15% (shipment fees))
= £75.38
Converted over to RM = RM437.21

400+bucks!! that is if the exchange rates remain at 5.8  and if the government won’t charge me taxes and then force me to pay another sum for transporting the goods to the nearest post office in my area… A girl can’t even buy anything without being fully extorted… yay...

Rippa-Klaw:
The Rippa Klaw is counted as a dreadnought close combat weapon, and adds +1 to the result rolled on the vehicle damage chart. Additionally in Cities of Death games a model equipped with a Rippa-Klaw always counts as having a Wrecker Stratagem.

Mega-Charga:
This upgrade may be used once per game. At the start of the movement phase, roll a D6, on the roll of a ‘1’ the Mega-Dread is immobilised (note the Ramshackle Monster rules do no apply to this damage), on any other result, the Mega-Dread gains the Fleet universal special rule for this turn.

A Mega-Dread is a Heavy Support choice for an Ork army.
